Buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping & pickup. Due to the large size and value of the trailer, I recommend hiring a fully insured professional transit service unless you are well versed in towing a trailer of this size and weight. Buyer assumes all risk and all liabilities upon purchase of the trailer.

GENERAL INFO

Unlike Airstream designs which curve in, this Spartan is straight walled which makes a tremendous difference in feeling open and spacious. You might ask, does it feel as cozy in person as it does in the photos? The answer is that it is even more cozy in person! I am happy to answer any and all questions about the tiny home so please feel free to ask away. This tiny home truly feels like a home.

*Please note: If purchasing the off grid kit -The solar panels must be taken off of the roof prior to transit and re-installed once at your location. The power connection is a standard 20 amp Edison plug. In order to connect to a 30 amp receptacle simply use the provided adapter (120 volts only). The solar utility enclosure and components as well as the included external flushing toilet unit must be shipped separately or secured within your truck bed for transit. Please see photos for visual of interior and exterior. There are some minor blemishes on exterior and a visible crease toward the rear right-side on the exterior.

HISTORY The origin of the tiny house concept began with Spartan trailers. Oil tycoon John Paul Ghetty purchased the Spartan Aircraft Company in 1935 and later commissioned the construction of these lavish houses on wheels as a means to host investors on his oil drilling expeditions. It wasn't long before a go go 1950s America followed suit as this new concept of luxury and travel began to blossom during this period. The Spartan model that we chose to restore is an exceedingly rare two door "Royal Spartanette". Less than 600 of this longer, more spacious "Royal" version were produced between 1950 and 1953.
