Eldorado Aerotech 240 low floor cutaway.Runs great. Turn the key and it starts first time. No warning lights, everything is working fine.
We purchased it from a local Southern California transit authority, so it has been well maintained.
The low floor model gives 6ft 2inch headroom which is more than standard models.
Most seats have been removed to make way for two single beds with 75 x 35 foam mattresses. 8 15 gallon storage containers can be stored under the beds.
8 passenger seats with seat belts remain. 4 seats at the rear and two sets of two behind the driver. The four rear (two sets of two) are especially useful because they fold up when not in use, giving more useable room.
2 batteries, each with a disconnect so that when camping, one can be isolated so that whatever has been going on elsewhere there is always enough power to start the motorhome.
Registered as a motorhome not a commercial vehicle.
Two shore power connections, one on each side. Two 14 gauge extensions bring the power to the top of the bed for CPAP machine and other electronics.
Dash a/c and rear a/c, front and rear heat, all working well. A 120v portable a/c with side discharge for use when at a campsite with shore power.
Removable blackout curtains.
Working wheelchair lift. We used to use it to carry an electric scooter for travel once we had our campsite. The scooter is not included in the auction, the photo is just to show one of the many options possible.We have installed a back up camera, wired so that it can be used whilst travelling on the highway not just when reversing.
We're sad to have to part with our motor home. I'm on my second cardiac event and can't continue with with the build out, which is a great disappointment to us. Even though it is a bare bones conversion we've been out in it many times and with staying at campsites with shore power we find we get all the facilities of a much more extensive/expensive conversion. We use a Colman gas stove or an IKEA induction hot plate when necessary. We also use a plug in cooler chest/fridge that works with 12v or 110v.
