Nissan NV2500 SL Van, Hi Top Camper Conversion, Mobile Office

Price: US $21,500.00 Item location: Ogden, Utah, United States
Description:

2017 Nissan NV2500, 5.6 V8, 7-speed auto, RWD, 114000 miles, navigation, tow package, roof rack, custom paint, awning, tinted glass, 265/70/17 Michelin tires, ladder.
This is a true 3/4 ton chassis with 8 lug wheels and the engine is rated at 375HP from the factory. Typical mileage is 17mpg at 65mph. The van easily cruises at 80mph, and with a tailwind can get 19+mpg.
Mild camper build includes small bed, storage, and counter space. There is a 1000W inverter/charger, 30A 120V electrical RV inlet, 2 standard RV batteries, breaker panels, 12V and 120V outlets, and lights. A single-burner propane stove slides out, and there is a 120V min fridge, and 120V microwave. There is a 10-gallon fresh water tank, pump, and sink, however there is no waste tank; the sink empties into a bucket.
I purchased the vehicle from a Nissan dealer in 2019 as a used cargo/contractor van with a damaged roof. At the time the van had 27,000 miles on it and I repaired the damage, built out the back, and added the custom paint. At 56K miles Nissan replaced the engine on warranty due to a known factory defect. Engine oil has always been changed at under 5K intervals, and the transmission fluid and differential fluid were serviced at around 100K.
For much of my ownership I used the van for Insurance Adjusting traveling to locations throughout the US, as a company vehicle for my RV parts business, and the van makes a great camper for pleasure use with the ability to tow if needed. I am selling it because I also have a 4WD E350 Quigley van that serves my needs better now that I am not traveling as much. I would like to keep it but the cost of storing, insuring, and maintaining 2 vans is no longer practical.
The van is rear wheel drive (these can be converted to 4WD). With the factory electronic traction control, good tires, and driving skills, I had no issue traveling through snowstorms across the Mountain West. There is no auxiliary AC or heat. The van will come with a small 120V space heater and portable 120V AC unit which I used with a generator or when plugged in. The inverter also charges the battery when plugged in, however there is no solar or battery isolator. The roof rack is medium duty and will work for solar panels. I carried ladders, SUP's etc. on top. The bed is small and fits a person 5'-6" in relative comfort.
The van has been stored inside much of the time. The body and undercarriage is in great shape with the exception of the bumps and bruises accumulated with 7 years of use. The interior show some stains on the fabric and general light wear.
Please feel free to reach out with questions. Thanks.
