1993 Safari Trek RV Motorhome – 3.9L Isuzu Diesel – 64K Miles – Runs & Drives!

Price: US $6,995.00 Item location: Fort Collins, Colorado, United States
Description:

Selling my parents' 1993 Safari Trek Class A motorhome, built on an Isuzu diesel chassis, with just 64,000 miles. Clean and clear title.

My stepfather purchased it with plans to renovate the interior and travel the country. He started updating and modernizing it, but their plans eventually changed, and the RV has been sitting at our family's property.

It's a unique motorhome with a lot of character and potential for someone looking to finish it and make it their own.

Mechanical Condition

We recently replaced all three chassis batteries, and it starts, runs, and drives great. The transmission shifts smoothly.

  • Isuzu 3.9L diesel engine

  • 64,000 miles on the odometer

  • Three brand-new chassis batteries

  • Tires have less than 50 miles on them. He purchased them drove it back from the tire store and never drove it, They are a few years old.

  • My stepfather mentioned that the front suspension may need some work

Interior & Features

The interior has been partially renovated while retaining much of the original Safari Trek character.

  • Original cabinetry in excellent condition with updated hardware

  • Updated ceiling, wallpaper, and flooring

  • Unique Safari Trek Electro-Majic overhead drop-down bed

  • Brand-new, never-used Norwegian Cinderella incinerating toilet with installation kit (approximately $4,000 investment)

  • New gray water tank included, currently sitting in the shower and awaiting installation

  • Interior lights and cabin electrical appear to be working

  • Exterior awning and storage compartments

Condition & Disclosures

This is an unfinished renovation being sold as-is. Some interior work remains to be completed.

A previously installed mini-split air conditioning system has been removed. The condition and functionality of the original HVAC equipment, heating system, and other onboard appliances are unknown. We're not certain which original components remain installed or operational.

The interior lights work, but the remaining electrical, plumbing, and onboard systems have not been fully tested or verified.

The new gray water tank still needs to be installed and connected. As mentioned, the front suspension may also need attention.

Mechanically, the RV starts, runs, and drives well, but we haven't inspected or tested every system. Buyers are welcome and encouraged to inspect it in person.

A Unique RV With Plenty of Potential

One of the coolest features of the Safari Trek is its overhead drop-down bed, which allows for a surprisingly spacious living area without the length of a traditional Class A motorhome.

Whether you're looking for a weekend getaway vehicle, an off-grid conversion, or a motorhome to finish renovating for extended travel, this could be a great opportunity.

Located in Northern Colorado. Sold as-is, where-is. Buyer responsible for pickup or transportation.
