This 2024 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 High Roof 170" has been professionally converted into a premium, fully self-contained off-grid adventure van designed for extended travel without relying on propane, generators, or diesel heaters. Purchased new from Mercedes-Benz of Boise in June 2025, this custom build has already proven itself on a cross-Canada journey where every system performed flawlessly. the High Output 2.0L twin-turbo diesel engine paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission, it consistently achieved an impressive 33.2 MPG on the highway, making it an ideal platform for long-distance exploration.
The handcrafted interior features luxury vinyl flooring, birch veneer walls, a pine tongue-and-groove ceiling, custom cabinetry, a comfortable north/south Murphy bed, spacious dining area, and abundant storage. The fully equipped galley includes a large Galanz refrigerator/freezer, Bosch water heater, deep stainless sink, Vevor two-burner electric cooktop, toaster oven, coffee maker, and multiple 120V outlets. A residential-quality plumbing system includes 20-gallon fresh and gray water tanks, PEX plumbing, outdoor shower, shore water hookup, and plumbing already in place for a future indoor bathroom, with a Thetford cassette toilet included.
One of the highlights of this build is the robust all-electric power system centered around the EcoFlow Delta Pro 3 with 4,000Wh of storage, supported by an impressive 1,725 watts of solar capacity from roof-mounted and portable panels. Shore power charging, exterior power hookups, USB charging ports, and dedicated AC circuits provide exceptional flexibility. Climate control is handled by a solar-powered Fogatti mini-split heat pump for heating and air conditioning, with an OmniMax ceramic heater included for colder conditions. Exterior upgrades include a Vann Camp roof rack, Astra Guard side ladder, three screened sliding windows, five LED awning lights, and professionally installed roof-mounted solar panels.
