2003 Winnebago Rialta QD (106K miles) WILL NOT SHIP
2003 Winnebago Rialta QD - MOTIVATED SELLER. MAKE ME AN OFFER I CAN'T REFUSE. ALL SERIOUS OFFERS CONSIDERED.Bought this Rialta in 2023 to go camping with our special needs daughter. Unfortunately, turns out she does not like camping. So our loss is your gain.
The GOOD:- Powerful 2.8L, V6 engine cruises at 80 mph on freeway and climbs hills very well.- Luxury leather edition. Rear bench seats fold down to form full size bed, front coach captains chairs fold down to form twin size bed; sleeps 3 full size adults very comfortably. - Self contained RV includes kitchenette with microwave, sink, very cold fridge, and 2 burner stove; bathroom with shower, sink and toilet; integrated 6 gallon LPG tank, water tanks and sewage tanks. Working outdoor shower and working furnace. 26inch flat screen tv.- Has original working generator but it is loud and has rarely been used. - A/C is very cold. Recently fully serviced, with over $3,000 in repairs to ensure no leaks and everything working correctly. - New tires, brakes and batteries (coach and engine). - Custom wood flooring.- We have used it at RV parks and it provides everything you need to have a great time. 20 MPG on highway makes this RV one of the most economical out there. Comes with RV jack, expanding sewage evacuation tube, water hose, 30 amp shoreline power cable, cabin drapes, shower drape.
The BAD:- Control panel seems to have power (red) wire cut and lights do not light up. However, generator and water pump switches on panel do work.- Transmission: Noticed a slight slipping of clutch plate 2 years ago. Hardly EVER happens. Looked on Reddit at r/eurovan and someone else had same problem. He fixed it by buying a solenoid kit with harness on Amazon for $50. He did the replacement himself by removing transmission pan (not need to jack it up), replacing the old solenoid and harness, then replacing fluid. 2 hours of work and a few more $$ for trans fluid and all seemed to be fixed. I have not had time to do this fix. Since we use it so little I simply drop it into 3rd/2nd gear when climbing steep hills and have no issues. - Water heater has a leak so set water line to bypass it for the time being and as such no hot water. This is not an issue if you plan to camp at RV parks. New hot water heater is around $500.
The UGLY: She's lots of fun but is looking her age on exterior. Interior looks great for 22 year old RV. A good exterior paint job would make this RV pop. Rear drivers side panel above bench seat has wall paper coming off due to an old roof water leak that has since been fixed. You can't notice it because window shade covers it up.
Purchase Details: I have listed EVERYTHING I know is wrong with the RV. Will not accept purchase unless you come and check it out prior. Don't want anyone complaining later that they found out something else was bad with the RV. As noted above this is a great RV for camping at RV parks. If you want to go off grid the generator is pretty loud and there is no hot water.
