2022 rockwood 2608BS Travel Trailer **SOLAR****Off-Grid!**

Selling our beloved 2022 rockwood 2608BS camper. It's a beautiful model, in near new condition. Some life changes have forced us to sell. I have put $9,000 of rooftop solar and battery upgrades into the camper, which allow it to function completely off grid. Park it in a field with good sun exposure and have unlimited energy to live. The battery system is made by Ecoflow and is plugged into the camper via the generator plug. So if you ever would like to use the camper normally at a full hook up site(as we do on occasion) you can do that! Just plug it in like a normal camper and you off and running. This camper also is outfitted with an Airhead composting toilet. It works like an absolute dream and I have no idea why all campers don't use these. It's just so clean and easy as compared to holding tanks and dump stations. BUT if you prefer that sort of thing simply swap out the composting toilet for any rv toilet online and you're good to go! This existing plumping is all 100% in place. I also installed the Ecoflow WAVE 2 heat pump ac/heater in the bedroom which work very well heating or cooling that room with the doors closed. We also did some custom upgrades to the living room. we removed the flimsy recliner/sofa with a real high quality sofa. We also removed the stock dinette and put in a custom table with a built in dog crate. The table is not mounted to the camper in any way so can be easily removed and any off the shelf table/chair set can be put in its place. While off grid the solar/battery system WILL operate: all lights, water pump, TV/radio/stereo, ecoflow wave 2 heat pump ac/heater, larger refrigerator/freezer, electric jack, the 4 electric stability jacks, slide outs, the propane forced hot air furnace, the roof top ac will operate on the solar system in full sun for a few hours (it can not be left on to run indefinitely as is could drain batteries). There is a really nice electric fireplace under the tv that also will work for a short time on the solar system but is probably better suited to be used with full hookups. I customized this trailer myself. I have a van outfitting business that you can look up on instagram at kingdomcampervans. I built the camper to function equally well in the remote deserts of Arizona or the rv parks of Florida. As you can see it's a simple design that you don't need an engineering degree to understand or operate. Its had very little use and is in excellent condition.
