This 1976 Airstream Safari measures 22’ from bumper to hitch tongue & weighs 5,000 lbs. is tandem axle (4wheels) Excellent trailer tires. Bearings were repacked last year. Roof A/C by Thermo Cool.i replaced the flooring in the front & rear due to water damage. All new commercial carpet from an excess roll that was bought for remodel of local hotel. 3 way Dometic full size refrigerator to replace the apartment size fridge that was in it when I bought the project trailer. (found it in Amarillo Tx) . All cabinetry was replaced from an another Airstream in Parker,Colorado. Replaced all the screens after refinishing all the surrounds. At some time or another someone had tried to jimmy the door latch. In which case I had to replace the entire assembly ($585.00) plus tax & shipping. Due to the fact that the entire bathroom was a wreck and the floor was rotted away & the kitchen was destroyed ( range & double sink) I remodeled it to be an office/guest bedroom for my store/residence in Raton,New Mexico. So there is no kitchen or bathroom. Last December they built a Super Maverik truck stop next door to my residence / Trading Post. (Too much noise, light pollution, trash, vagrants, Jake breaks). So I sold my property & moved back to Taos county.
