This 1973 Airstream International Land Yacht Sovereign is a 31’ double-axle travel trailer that has been with the current owner’s family since 1973. The floor plan features a front lounge area with a queen sofa bed, a kitchenette, a bedroom with two twin beds, and two upper beds and a Rear bathroom. Equipment includes an extended rear bumper, steel wheels, equipment lockers and shore connections. Last Used 2009. This Airstream Sovereign is now offered by the seller on behalf of their Aunt with a shore power cord, sewer hookup accessories, and Michigan registered.
Refrigerator and AC are in working condition and do get cold with the use of electricity. Propane appliances are NOT in working Condition. Tanks are empty and some parts will need to be replaced to operate water heater, furnace and propane operation of the refrigerator. The oven and stove should work fine with full propane tanks.Tires on the camper are new and only have about 35 miles on them, there are 2 hub caps available that are not pictured. There is a custom made trailer harness cable to go from modern truck 7 way flat plug to Heavy Duty RV 7 round pin connector. However trailer lights and not working and appears there may be a shorted bulb somewhere in the system.
The main door lock does work but takes a lot of shaking of the key to make it work. The water access door lock no longer works and will need to be replaced as the access will not open to fill the water tank. Most of the interior lights wor, one section in the middle do not light may be because of the trailer harness power. The cabinet door are the roll up " tambour " style and most have separated and can be repaired for better operation.
All items that need to be repaired I am able to repair, once repairs are started though items may require complete replacements due to the age and condition. We can negotiate repair prices and recommendations if you are interested. The owner has chosen not to move forward with any repairs due to being on a fixed income.
