1984 Executive Classic Vintage Class A motorhome RV: Very Nice! 9670 Miles!
1984 Executive 33 Twin model Class A RV
This is a very nice RV with 9670 original miles. I am the second owner, and I knew the first owner. This is an Executive brand RV. The executive brand was not an option for make, so I chose Monaco. Monaco aquired the executive brand in 1989. This RV is very well built. They were very expensive at the time. The only rv that was possibly more expensive was an airstream. This motorhome has full fiberglass exterior and Roof. Steel roof trusses. You can walk around on it like a bus, with no worries. You'll never have to worry about snow loads. Steel floor joists. If you're looking to buy or build a skoolie, save a lot of money and buy an older durable RV like this. It is a much cheaper option, especially if you value your time. I planned to use this alot when I bought it, but one of my sons doesn't like to camp, and the other one is in sports all the time. I have more pics and video I can send. Only 30 pics are allowed on here. I can help arrange shipping if needed. Feel free to ask questions. I will respond promptly, and I can talk on the phone also if you'd like. I can sell it on or off ebay. Thank you.
I DO NOT ACCEPT CARAMEL FOR PAYMENT. I accept and prefer wire transfer. I use a local credit union and they know me there, if your bank wants to call them. I'll accept a cashiers check also, if it is sent overnight mail, the first business day after the end of the auction. I require full payment within 3 business days.
RV SYSTEMS
This rv comes with all the original owners manuals, brochures, appliance manuals. It has two 12,500 air conditioners, one in the front and one in the bedroom. They are built into the body, not on the roof, and accessible for maintenance. I has dual 22,500 btu propane furnaces. It has a 6500 watt onan onboard generator that runs on propane also. It has a propane water heater, stove/oven, and fridge. The RV was out of propane when I got it, so I haven't checked those systems. The fridge and microwave worked the last time I had it plugged into 50 amp.The previous owner took very good care of his vehicles. It is unlikely that any of the propane appliances don't work. The generator turns over. The water system all works, and no leaks. This RV has hydraulic levellers at each corner. I have never used them. It has an electric over hydraulic pump for the leveller system. This is a good system and does not use a pto. There is a book that says how to use the levellers. The RV has tons of interior lighting, including isle lighting which is nice. The bedroom is setup with twins, but could easily be converted to a king if you want. All the rv gauges work. It has a control center for the grey water and black water tanks, and the other systems.
MECHANICAL
This has the chevrolet 454 V8, with turbo 400 automatic transmission. It runs excellent. It does not smoke or have blowby. It doesn't have any dripping fluid leaks. The transmission works perfectly. Great oil pressure. It runs cool and has no overheating issues. The heater and defrost work fine. No abnormalities. The brakes work great. No weird noises. The parking brake works. All of the gauges work. Both wipers work. The RV a/c does work, but is not very cold. They sell legal kits now with r12 to recharge these old style systems yourself. All of the exterior and exterior lights on the RV work. This has a roof mounted flood light, as well as a remote controlled spotlight. The motorhome has a closed circuit tv system with a backup camera. I think this was an expensive option in 1984 lol. It does work, which is nice when backing up a rig this size. This has HD 19.5 tires. They are older, but are not separating. They take 100psi. The rv drives perfect down the road. It will need shock absorbers, which should be pretty cheap to replace. It will need wiper blades too.
BODY
The body on the RV is excellent. It is all fiberglass, so very durable. There is no undercarriage rust anywhere. Undercarriage/underbody rust is very rare in Montana. They don't salt much here, and it's unlikely that this was ever driven in the winter either. The roof is fiberglass also. No leaks. It doesn't look like it's ever leaked. These RV's were very well built, with steel trussed roof. Steel full floor joists, with plywood flooring, not particle board like many cheep rv's have.I believe there are no cracks or chips in the windshield. All the other windows and screens are in good shape. This rig has a large awning, but I've never used it. There is tons of external storage compartments on this also.
INTERIOR
The interior is in nice shape. No weird smells. It's very clean. Solid oak cabinets with tile countertops. The carpet is in nice shape. No soft spots anywhere. No sign of any leaks anywhere. The front seats swivel back, to be used as seating in the living area. There is a fold down table between the two chairs in the living room. Couch and table fold into beds. All upholstery in nice shape. Blinds are wood also. Tons of storage, including a lot of overhead storage. The shower and bathroom are separate, which is nice. Privacy doors for the bathroom area and bedroom area.
This classic rv is sold as-is. I can help arrange shipping if needed. If you fly in to pick it up, I can bring it to the airport if it's paid for in advance. After payment is received, the title will be sent priority mail.
