Homebrew Truck Camper!

Price: - Item location: Mankato, Minnesota, United States
Description:

Ebay won't allow me to select a "make" option that reflects this is homebuilt. It should be obvious, this isn't a Dodge.
This is a homebuilt truck camper that I personally built and used in my 99 Ford F350. It will want at a minimum a 6.5' bed which is what I had.It was setup to boondock with solar/ battery power. No shore power. The construction is all wood and heavily insulated with foam. I'm minnesota and we get cold. I've had it down to -20 and the diesel heater will run you out. It has a small 12v fridge, 3k power inverter, 40 amp MPPT charge controller, but no panels. You'll need to install batteries as well for the system. The couch also pulls out to make a bed, which would be tight for a couple, but if your average, you'd likely be ok.It does need some completion. I tore the old plank floor out to reinstall a different color. 2 bxes will be included to finish. The sink, which is fed from a 40 gallon tank up front, needs the drain connected. The water I either dump, or catch in a bucket. It's more or less a fitting that screws on the sink drain and runs to a hose for the water to run out. This would also make s great fish house as it's on runners. If you don't have a truck, a trailer is another option. The roof is covered in EPDM. It had one standard roof vent and another that is powered with a fan. That's windows on each side. The unit IMO is due for another coat of Monstaliner which is what I used to prep the exterior. There are a couple of spots in the siding that could be addressed as far as touch up goes. This is really an easy thing to do for anyone. I held off recoating as I figured someone may want to choose a color that best suited their tastes. Please email me for more details if you need to.
