This 1989 Airstream Excella 1000 is 32' long. It has a queen bed in the back, dinette and flip down couch sleeping up to 6. It has a bathroom with shower, gas stove, gas/electric refrigerator, hot water heater (needs repair), water pump, AC, Heater, and microwave. Perfect for retro camping enthusiasts looking for a classic towing experience.
It is in used condition and needs some TLC. All appliances and towing details worked 3 years ago when towed from Pittsburgh to Western Virginia. Since then it has been at family farm. The hot water heater needs new parts that have rusted. The batteries are gone and need to be replaced. 1 propane tank seems to leak. One leveler needs to be repaired. While on the farm mice have found their way in here and there and been managed as much as possible. There is a memory foam queen mattress in the bedroom that is 3-4 years old and only been slept on 4 times. There had been 2 small floor repairs one near front door and one near back window corner that were cut out and repaired under the carpet. It needs some sealing in spots on the outside. It also has come dents and dings that some can probably come out. I was also told you can easily make it more shinny (not mirror like) with removing the old clear laquer with aircraft paint cleaner. Lots of potential updates! We have not used the awning and were told the parts where there and some extra inside behind couch, but no guarantees. Carpet and cushions need to be deep cleaned. Comes with some classic Airstream chairs. Accessories and blankets in photos not included. Otherwise this is a solid classic Airstream that can be updated and renewed to make it your travel dream or tiny home somewhere.
Includes hitch and sway bar as well as a spare tire. I can help connect and trouble shoot trailer lights if needed. Tires were in newer condition 3 years ago and trailer towed great through the mountains with my F150. Tires have had air in them while parked. Happy to offer any other information if possible, just message me. I have another Airstream the same model, but 1988 that I completely remodeled into a whole new interior and have used for guests and Airbnb. We had hoped to do the same to this one, but life got in the way.
