1968 Airstream Overlander 26' – Full Restoration Project – New Tires – $16,500 OBO (willing to negotiate)
I bought this Overlander from a Missouri couple who had started renovating it, planning to finish the restoration myself. Military duty, deployment and a PCS out of state meant I never got to give it the time it deserves. Rather than let it keep sitting, I'd like to pass it on to someone who can give it a new life.
What you get:
- Classic 26' Overlander shell. Straight body, all windows including the curved end windows, original screen door, front and rear end caps
- Interior gutted to the plywood floor; most interior skins in place
- All four tires replaced September 2026, tandem axle
Needs a complete renovation:
- Insulation, flooring, wiring, and full interior build-out
- Roof A/C is not working and is tarped against the weather
- Plastic covers an opening at the top front to protect the interior
- Electric tongue jack needs repair or replacement
- Small dent in the lower rear end cap; surface rust on the A-frame
- It has been through some Kentucky storms. Sold as-is.
Paperwork:Sold with a signed bill of sale. No current title, plates, or registration; the buyer handles titling.
Towable to its new home on new tires. Located near Fort Campbell, KY. Showings on-post with a visitor pass (need real id) or with military/vet ID. Serious inquiries welcome.
