1960 Vintage Shasta Airflyte Travel Trailer, Clean Title, Completely renovated

We rescued "Clementine" from what had become a very hard life for her. She was in rough shape, flooring was rotted, had ugly paneling installed and most of the furnishings inside had been removed or were in rough shape. We began by removing most everything inside the camper.
She features a front aluminum awning that protects the front windows when traveling but provides a shaded awning when at camp. The original door, with a screen door that is secured to the door and both doors can be locked open or locked shut.
She is a one-of-a-kind -- vintage on the outside, modern and functional on the inside. We always get compliments when traveling with her!
We have owned her for 14 years. In that time we have replaced/renovated:

• Removed peeling exterior paint and repainted (twice!). New exterior paint in 2025 with new front Shasta decal.
• Installed new Plywood Subfloor
• Replaced broken door handle with an original Shasta replacement handle (which includes keys - so you can lock the camper).
• Relocated and replaced the ceiling vent (with a 12 volt fan vent). New vent cover in 2025.
• Replaced wheels and tires (both tires and the spare tire). Bearings packed at that time.
• Custom built rear seating area that converts to a bed (44" x 82").
• Custom built front couch seating 30" x 82"(that also converts to a bed) with a top bunk
• Front seating area features a chemical toilet compartment
• Custom built closet, many cabinets and four drawers including a mirrored medicine cabinet
• Custom Route 66 themed curtains and color coordinated kitchen window with roman shade.
• Custom cushions and fabric for seating and curtains was new and coordinate with primary colors.
• New kitchen counter with unique 17" round and standard depth kitchen sink and faucet (cold water only). Grey water drains to ground or to included storage container.
• New 5 gallon on-board water tank in 2025 (with connection to campground water source).
• Completely new PEX plumbing and 12 volt water pump
• New 12 Volt and 110 Volt wiring throughout the camper, including trailer wiring and lights. 12 Volt RV battery located in tongue box).
• Replaced majority of the exterior trailer lighting with period reproductions.
• Added 12 Volt convenience lighting/reading/task lighting throughout the interior of the camper, including night lights for moving around in the night without attracting bugs.
• Added 12 Volt lighting has also been added to closets, cabinets, storage areas)
• Modernized with 12 Volt plugs/USB plugs located throughout the interior of the camper for convenience/charging of devices.
• TV mount with antenna connection on exterior and 12 volt power plug
• 110V refrigerator and microwave oven
• Propane Gas Range with 2 burners (Propane connection in tongue box on front of camper).
• Portable Air Conditioner with its own compartment inside the camper (vents to exterior). Makes for a very comfortable space.
• Installed 12 Volt bug-free lighting under the camper to light up the step as well as light up jacking locations (when arriving to camp late at night!).
• Clementine has a plywood floor that is covered by carpet squares to make wall to wall carpeting. We have found it easy to pull up a square to clean it when necessary.
• Clementine comes with a Bonus Room!! A matching Exterior Awning/Screen Room can be attached to the C channel along the top of the camper. When the screen room is attached, privacy shades can be lowered over the screen windows effectively doubling the living space! Screen room sides can be rolled up or removed and the room turns into an awning (see pics). This screen room is completely removable - the camper can be used with or without this bonus space. There is an additional short screen which snaps along Clementines exterior bottom edge and creates the fourth side of the screen room and keeps bugs out. A blowup, queen size mattress can easily fit in the screen room with room for lawn chairs and access to an exit.

Clementine does not have a heater and lost her wings a long time before we purchased her. Note that E-Bay has reproduction wings that we had thought about adding -- this would be something that a new owner could easily purchase and install. Other than the included chemical toilet, she also does not have a bathroom.
We have loved having Clementine in the family and she has attended many county fairs when our kids were in 4H. The low lights on the exterior have been especially helpful when locating her in a dark campground. She follows our Tahoe down the road and you don't even know she is tagging along. The addition of the small lighting features and abundant outlets for devices have made for many cozy nights when the kids have settled into their bunks. The air conditioner has been a blessing on many a hot trip and is very easy to use.
We will work with you on getting Clementine to your location. We sold Chloe, a 1966 Shasta that we had also renovated when our kids were smaller and we met the buyers at Mount Rushmore!
