2004 Pleasure-Way Excel-TS Ford
Ihave a 2004 Pleasure-Way Excel-TS Ford class B Motorhome on a Ford E250 Econoline chassis with a clear AZ title in my name. All the original documentation and upgrades as well as a Haynes repair manual are there. It has new tires, batteries and AC compressor. It has the V8 Triton with190K miles. The rig itself should be worth about $20K. With over $7K of major upgrades and a slew of minor about $29K. Bear in mind this is a small rig, only 21 feet long. It would be great for a single person or a really close couple looking to full time or spend weekends off grid. I believe $27,00 is a reasonable asking price. I have made the following $7,322 major upgrades:
Front and rear 2” receivers with hinged racks $800
Window Tint 50% Wind Shield, 15% Front, 5% side $500
Automatic Positive Pressure Battery/Electronic Bay Vent $30
Replaced Absorption Refrigerator with Vitrifrigo 12V Refrigerator/Freezer $1,504
Upgraded Microwave to Convection/Broiler/ Air Fryer $100
Replaced Water Pump with 12V Seaflo 3.0 GPM $70.24
Added Soft Start to AC $113.99
All LED Lighting $75
3 x 240W PV for 720Ws of Solar Power $500
2 x Trojan L16 Batteries for 440AH $1600
Magnum Energy MS2812 Inverter w/BMK & Remote $1,500
Rich Solar 50A DC-DC Charger w/ MPPT Fully Programable from Smart Phone $229
Backup Camera and Monitor with extra camera $100
2/4PC Anderson Plug 50A Flush Mount Brackets (not complete)
Comes with a 12V Vacuum
Now, all those electrical specifications are well and good, but what do they actually mean, well I'll tellya. On December 11th&12th we had 2 early appointments at the VA Hospital in Vegas. We left the evening of the 10th from Kingman AZ. After arriving at the Hospital we fixed 2 TV dinners, watched some TV, went to bed with 2 CPAPs and an Oxygen concentrator running. The following morning we had microwave oatmeal and fresh coffee. That evening the battery had recovered to 84% and this is winter time. This rig rides and drives well. No check engine lights. She gets about 13 MPG, depending on time of year and speed driven. The rear receiver has a doubler installed so a hitch can be added under the rack. The rig has a full gas tank, full propane tank and is winterized.
