1975 FMC 2900R – Rare Classic Motorcoach Project – Priced to Sell
This isn’t just another old RV sitting on the street. The FMC 2900R is a rare, collectible motorcoach with serious history – only about 1,000 of these were ever built, and they’ve got a strong cult following. Same model driven by Mario Andretti back in the day. These things were designed tough, built low to the ground for stability, and engineered like tanks.
This one’s a project, but the bones are there. If you’re looking for something unique to restore (or live in while you fix it), this is it.
The Good:
- Habitable right now – it’s clean inside.
- Bed with comfortable mattress already set up.
- Cabinets, mirrored closet, medicine cabinet, desk – plenty of built-ins and quirky character.

- Legendary FMC design – one of the coolest-looking RVs ever made.
What It Needs (read this, don’t ask twice):
- Fluids + battery jump (it’s been sitting).
- Ignition/key replacement – currently starts with switches.
- Door locks need replacing (has makeshift locks now).
- Bathroom + kitchen are gutted – no kicker or bathroom in place.
- Tires and general mechanical TLC (it’s a project, not turnkey).
