1996 American Tradition Fleetwood Motor Home
Great motor home served us well traveling and staying in. The great things, Cummings pusher 300 turbo diesel, Allison 5 speed transmission, air suspension and brakes, Spartan chassis, Owen 7.5 KW diesel generator. All low time and running excellent.
Problems, almost all electrical/wiring. When parked 3 years ago what didn’t work: cabin/coach heaters/ washer/ outside step didn’t retract. Now, many electrical/wiring problems: transmission shifter has no power so it will not move, fuel shut off not activating, starter solenoid not activating but can be jumped, front A/C has a jumper wire but works fine,
There are electrical/wiring problems. Major one no power to the transmission shiftier control. Generator control not working, might be batteries since only 2 of the six batteries seem to be good. Have not tried to see what coach or running lights work. Interior, needs TLC. Basements need work, water tank out but ready to install. I haven’t checked any of the LP stuff, inside lights, appliance operations, all worked when parked.
I can start it air suspension comes up air brakes work power steering works but you can’t activate the transmission and drive it, right rear jack did not come up completely.
You can bring purchase price, work on the transmission shiftier here or tow to your location. Chassis and generator used worth more than twice my asking price. I have given the essential info and problems, please contact me with questions you may have. Located in Moss, TN with TN clear title. I tried to find the problem with the 6 button Alison shift control. There are 2 16pin connectors no power to any of them and don't know which one(s) should have power. If you can get that info should be easy to make this RV drivable to get the rest of the electrical problems fixed.
