We are the original owners of this custom-designed luxuryNew HorizonsMajestic fifth wheel trailer. It has been our full-time “apartment on wheels” for the last 2 1/2 years. We have loved every minute of living in it, but we are now coming off the road, so it will soon be the home of another lucky RVer.

With the help of New Horizons, we meticulously designed this Majestic to maximize storage, convenience, and comfort, whether we were in a campground on full hookups or camping off-grid. It is a true four-season rig optimized for full-time living and frequent traveling. The light and bright interior feels welcoming and even more spacious than its 400 square feet of space would suggest. Some of the special touches include a chef’s kitchen with plenty of counter space and storage and upgraded appliances, including a dishwasher; a residential king size bed with two nightstands; a front bathroom with dual sinks, a spacious corner shower, and a washer and vented dryer; and a two-person desk with extra AC and USB outlets and hidden storage for a laser printer. (While the desk makes this rig ideal for working on the road, it could be removed if desired to make room for a sofa.)

New Horizons builds literally the best fifth wheel RVs in the industry. Using only high-end materials and components, their craftspeople carefully construct each trailer by hand to the owner’s specifications. The foundation of this trailer is a heavy-duty 12″ beam-and-box-tube steel frame, custom-designed for this specific unit and built in-house. The frame and chassis components easily support a cargo carrying capacity (CCC) of 4,130 lbsafterallowing for full fresh water and propane tanks–a figure unheard of with cookie-cutter units. Cabinets, drawers and doors are real wood. Plumbing and electrical components are installed with painstaking attention to detail, better than in many high-end homes. From top to bottom, this is an RV built to last for many years of full-time usage on the road.

We also designed our Majestic to be towable within the weight limits of our existing Ford F-450 truck (which is also for sale), rather than requiring a heavy-duty tow vehicle. The pin weight of this trailer is 4,180 lbs empty and 4,000 lbs as we have it loaded. With its three-axle independent suspension and electric over hydraulic disc brakes, it is easy and rock-steady to tow and stop, even on mountain roads.

Because New Horizons builds only about 30 Majestics each year and many owners keep their rigs for a decade or longer, late-model used units like this one are rarely available for sale.
