Key Features & Specs
Chassis: Ford E-250 Econoline [1]
Length / Size: Compact enough to fit into standard or small-sized parking spaces while offering vintage high-top headroom.

Historical Context: While Funcraft conversions are famously associated with 1970s and 1980s utility and touring vans (such as the custom Ford and Dodge Funcraft builds used by bands or icons like Terry Fox), the 1985 model represents a late-vintage example of these retro fiberglass-top conversions. Chassis & Mechanical Specifications
In 1985, Funcraft utilized Ford's heavy-duty E-250 and E-350 Econoline platforms. These chassis featured a rigid body-on-frame layout and Ford’s dependable Twin-I-Beam independent front suspension. [1, 2, 3]

️ Historical Significance & Legacy
Funcraft vehicles occupy a unique pocket of RV history. They were among the earliest consumer-facing "stealth" camper vans that could fit into a standard parking space while offering the complete amenities of a larger Class C motorhome. Because Funcraft eventually closed its doors, surviving 1985 models are considered rare, sought-after vintage restoration projects prized by "van life" collectors for their bulletproof Ford powertrains and retro charm.
