The 2004 Fleetwood Terra 32S is a Class A RV with a sleeping capacity of 6 people. It features a 50-gallon water capacity, two air conditioners, one awning, and a slide-out for added space. This was our first camper and we treated it well. We purchased it about 6 years ago, before COVID. We installed a new tankless water heater and a brand new $2,100 refrigerator this year. Last year, we replaced the front AC. I removed the carpet and installed a vinyl floating floor. The vinyl is much easier to keep clean.
The Good:Both ACs work great; one is new.Brand new refrigerator from Camping World.Camping World installed a new awning in 2023.Stove and microwave workThe tires are like new.The unit only has 40,000 miles on it.The motor and transmission run like they only have 40,000 miles on them.Has a working generator that starts from thedashboard. We didn't use it much, but I still had the oil changed each year.The unit has two working TVs, with one in the bedroom.New toilet in 2022.All the books and manuals are in the unit.Lots of space.No leaksThe unit is ready to camp.
The bad:The unit is 21 years old, and the exterior is fading as seen in the pictures.There is a small soft spot in the bedroom floor on the right side of the bed. The pump is under the bed, and at some point, it leaked, causing water to pool in this spot. I never got around to fixing it.The inside is not badly worn. I have seen 10-year-old campers with more wear and tear. However, at 21, it is starting to look dated.The backup camera works, but because of its age, it takes 5 minutes to warm up.I'm missing something, I'm sure, but the bottom line is the unit is 21 years old. It would make a great 1st camper for a young family with pets. Why spend $200,000 on a camper for the kids and pets to make you cry every time they have an accident? It would also be great for a hunting property or mobile office.
