We purchased this 2023 American Coach Patriot MD4 Lounge new with a MSRP of $226,435. This luxury Class B RV measures approximately 24 feet 3 inches in length with the 170EXT sprinter chassis (duel rear wheels) and all the features that come along with it such as the 3.0L V6 Turbo Diesel hengine, keyless start, Mercedes Pro Connect, 16” aluminum rims, Suburban water heater, induction cooktop, custom Maybach style seating, side & rear screen doors, dark tinted side & rear windows, fiberglass running boards, power awning with LED lights, roof top A/C, back up camera and so much more. Options include the lounge seating, Milkweed wall color with Black Denali, SLS double needle diamond pattern upgrade, Satin cabinets, molded low profile spoiler, 4 camera system with dash monitor, 600 Amp HR lithium Eco-Freedom Pkg, wireless internet router, Apple TV and upgraded horn system. Not only does this amazing RV include all of these impressive features, they also packed an assortment of different packages that make the American Patriot a cut above the competition such as the custom dash and door handle wood grain upgrade, 2,000 watt inverter, entrance grab handle, digital touch screen coach control system (3 LED display locations), complete insulation package, air roof fan with remote and wind guard, solid surface counter tops, roof top solar charging system (300 watts), exterior shower and much more. This RV has no generator to fuss with, the energy system is described below.

When selecting an RV, our priorities included comfortable travel, ease of parking, essential living amenities, and a commitment to owning a high-quality, easy to maintain and exceptionally safe vehicle. We found that after thorough research and previously owning another MB Sprinter Van (2019 Winnebago, this white 2023 American Patriot came out on top in every feature that was in our criteria list. We learned that the American Patriot is renowned for its premium craftsmanship. The Patriot’s living quarters are very well-designed and beautifully packaged on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500HD chassis. This means we benefit from Mercedes' exceptional engineering in terms of crashworthiness, safety, diesel economy (18-22 mpg), value retention and reliability. This coach also features advanced driver-assist technologies such as blind-spot protection, 360 degree cameras displayed on a large 10 inch touchscreen, lane-keeping assist, active distance assist, crosswind assist, attention assist, active brake assist and much more. It’s 6-cylinder diesel engine and 7-speed automatic transmission are known for their durability, performance, low maintenance and efficiency; this guarantees a reliable journey for years to come.

Versatility of the Patriot’s design makes it ideal for exploring without limitations. Maneuverability is a breeze, making city driving stress-free. U-turns are effortless, and the option to park or stealth camp virtually anywhere is invaluable. This Patriot is equipped with a robust lithium-ion battery system designed to provide ample power for the coach's electrical systems, appliances, and electronics for up to three days without any electrical hook up (energy is stored in 6 Lithium batteries containing 600 Amps of energy). This advanced technology battery system can be charged in multiple ways: by the RV's engine alternator while driving, through the 300-watt solar panel system on the roof or via a 110-volt shore power connection. Whether you are boondocking in a remote location or staying at a well-equipped RV park, this battery system ensures you have the necessary power for lighting, heating, cooling, and operating various appliances. The RV has plenty of overhead storage and the trailer hitch offers additional storage options if needed.

Waste water drainage (Sani flush): This is well done using a built in mashinator pump and recoiling 1” hose for a very clean discharging system. Along with the solenoid controlled gate valves on the waste tanks (gray & black water), waste drainage is a snap. All water tanks are heated when needed.

Despite its compact packaging design, the Patriot is fully equipped with all necessary amenities: a kitchen with a fridge, countertop, induction stove, a microwave oven and kitchen cabinets/drawers; a bathroom with a shower and "instant-on" hot water; a 24" smart TV in the rear (bedroom); and a very comfortable queen-sized bed/sofa combination. A removable table is also provided in the rear seating area plus many large windows for scenic views. Front and Rear seatbelts (7 in total) for safety, a built-in WiFi hotspot, making it ideal for facilitating in-home communications comfort. Up front the vertical ceiling houses a 42” QLED smart tv with blue tooth surround sound.

The MB Patriot is not only fuel-efficient for an RV (18 to 22 mpg) but also practical enough to be used as a daily commuter vehicle. It’s elevated stance and large windshield enhance visibility for both road hazards and scenic views. The reflective white exterior helps maintain visibility and reduce heat absorption on sunny days.

We were amazed by it’s built-in WiFi hotspot and a sophisticated smartphone app which provides remote access to a suite of vehicle functions, including status updates, remote lock/unlock capabilities, remote vehicle location, tire pressure monitoring, service history, vehicle software updating and geofencing.

This meticulously cared-for American Patriot, a little over 2 years old with under 28,000 miles, is in mint condition. While we adore this RV, we are selling it due to changing health issues.
