2007 Airstream Safari Special Edition 27FB
This 2007 Airstream Safari is a Special Edition 27FB travel trailer produced to commemorate the manufacturer’s 75th anniversary, and it was purchased new. The trailer measures approximately 28’ long and features an aluminum exterior, a retractable gray awning, a single door, a folding boarding step, hinged windows, storage lockers, and utility hookups. Dry weight was estimated at 5,650 pounds from the factory. The tongue is equipped with a power-operated jack, and two 30-lb propane tanks are housed within a removable enclosure. The 15” alloy wheels are wrapped in 225/75 Hartland Radial S/T tires that were mounted in preparation for the sale. Braking is handled by electric 12” drums. The trailer has a GVWR of 7,600 lbs and rides on dual torsion axles. The living quarters feature oak laminate cabinetry, woodgrain vinyl flooring, privacy shades, and Venetian blinds. A fixed dinette is accompanied by a 66” lounge, and house equipment includes a 13,500-Btu air conditioner, a 25,000-Btu furnace, a flat-screen television, and a Sony CD head unit. The bedroom is located at the front of the trailer and features a queen bed with a foam mattress and nightstands on either side. A wardrobe, a mirror, and overhead storage lockers are also provided. The kitchen offers a six cubic-foot refrigerator/freezer, a sink with a faucet and separate sprayer, laminate countertops, and a three-burner cooktop with an oven and hood vent. A ventilation fan and a skylight with a shade are mounted overhead. Accordion-style dividers provide privacy for the shower and bathroom, which has a sink, mirrored cabinet, and toilet. Holding tanks for fresh, gray, and black water have capacities of 39, 37, and 39 gallons, respectively, and the black tank incorporates a rinsing system. A spare tire is carried underneath the trailer, and stabilizer jacks are located at all four corners.
