No introduction needed for this classic piece of American history. Crafted of pure aluminum and rivets from WWII airplane materials, double layered with insulation in the middle, ahead of its time. Very rare.
The trailer is in good structural condition, I've hauled it from NH to PA recently, no issues.
As you can see, it needs restoring. The outside shell is in good shape, nothing missing (that I know of, except from the original gas stove). It developed a leak and rotted the forward half of the floor. I've stripped the old decaying paint from the inside at great time and cost, which is a huge saving for anyone wanting to restore it. I have not yet tackled the outside, being pure aluminum (unlike modern versions) it will polish to a mirror. The wooden furniture is in bad shape but nothing a decent woodworker can't address.
